FAQs!

• What is the venue capacity?

  We have ample seating for up to 150 people!

• Is there parking at the event?

  Yes, we have an outdoor lot directly next to the barn that your guests and vendors can park comfortably.

• Do we have to host the ceremony inside?

  You may absolutely host the ceremony outside or inside, whichever you choose!

• Can we see the Barn before booking our event?

  Absolutely! Just give us a call or send us a text at 931-201-9475 to set that showing up with our team. You can email us as well at events@bearhollowretreat.com

• Can I use my own caterer?

  Yes! We do not provide any catering services.

• Are linens available?

  Yes. You choose our package with linen to ensure your tables are covered during your event/wedding. They are floor length white tablecloths that our team can set up before the event.

• Does the Barn have any restrictions?

  We ask that you do not use decor that includes any confetti, glitter, or sequins.

• What sound system do you have?

  The Barn is equipped with a basic sound system: 8 channel mixer with a 3 band EQ on each channel and onboard effects. What this means is that we are equipped to provide ample sound for up to 8 inputs of live audio. Best for: Solo Singer- Songwriters Solo speakers in a seminar type setting. Duo or Trio performance acts (Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Electric Guitar...etc.) A general checklist of equipment that should be on hand is as follows: 8 microphone stands, 5 Shure SM58 microphones, At least 10-15 XLR cables 25' in length 4 x 50-75' speaker cables. What we are not equipped to do:Full band that requires drums, such as a live wedding band. Run the actual sound from the "Nest".

• What services do you offer?

  The events team at Bear Hollow Retreat is dedicated to redefining relaxation and the venue experience for everyone who hosts their weddings at Bear Hollow. They will be on hand throughout your journey to "I do" to answer any questions you may have and help you organize accommodation bookings for your guests. Your ceremony and reception spaces will be set up with tables, chairs, and a sound/lighting system to set the scene for your celebration of love. Convenient on-site parking is also available just footsteps from the barn, so your guests can simply arrive and embrace the tranquility and serenity of Bear Hollow Retreat.
